DFWAE and MultiView Present the Executive of the Year Award
Nancy Calaway, CAE, Recognized for Outstanding Contributions to the Association Community
MultiView, a leading B2B publisher for associations, and the Dallas-Fort Worth Association Executive (DFWAE) recently recognized Nancy Calaway, director of marketing and member communications for the American College of Emergency Physicians, as this year’s DFWAE Executive of the Year. The award, presented annually at DFWAE’s Association Day, recognizes an association executive for outstanding contributions made to the association community.
Calaway has a key role in developing marketing strategies for ACEP’s member acquisition and retention, publication sales and educational meeting attendance. She oversees the business and editorial content of the association’s award-winning monthly news magazine, ACEP Now; the association’s website and social media channels; and various e-newsletters designed for ACEP members.
Candice Muldrow, MultiView’s senior manager of partnerships and current DFWAE board member, presented Calaway with the award. “Nancy finds value in discovering the clinical and practice management issues facing the physician members to make ACEP’s marketing and communications more personal,” said Muldrow. “Nancy is honored to work with seven well-respected writers, editors, designers and marketers.”
To be eligible for the DFWAE Executive of the Year Award, an individual must be a current DFWAE member and employed full-time by an association or an association management company. Previous winners include Phillip Martin (2016), Teresa Foster (2015), David Sadler (2014), Tracy Tomson (2013) and Steven Hacker (2012).
“We applaud the work of DFWAE and are pleased to be a part of this prestigious award,” said Scott Bedford, CEO of MultiVIew. “As a long-time partner of MultiView, we see first-hand Nancy’s continuous commitment to her association and its members. It’s our pleasure to present this award to her.”
“The DFWAE Executive of the Year Award is presented annually to someone who exhibits great leadership and influence. Nancy is the epitome of this award,” said Trevor Mitchell, CAE, senior director of membership and strategy at American Mensa and DFWAE Association Day chair. “We are honored to present this award to Nancy for her overall positive impact to DFWAE, ACEP, and its membership.”
